Alice received a lovely pinni in the mail today, all the way from New Zealand. Clever little design, no buttons or zips. It has been beautifully hand screenprinted, love the baby bassinet hanging from the tree.
Check out Flowertinkers blog , Josie has some gorgeous necklaces too.
Hi Kerrie. Alice is looking so grown up. I bet she thinks she is in those big girl shoes. Thanks for your comments on my blog and mentioning my pinnies. It's great to see Alice wering hers.I keep forgetting to take photos. The main hidden (lol) and honest reason I took over my teens room so immediately was that I just couldn't bear to keep it intact and walk past it daily.I'd have been throwing myself on her bed sobbing clutching her old t-shirts lol. There's this part of me that wants to whip to Auckland and do mother kidnapping and put her back. Ha ha she would not be very pleased.! Changing her room has helped me deal with her departure. I left some bits of hers about and it feels special. I too adore children :) If my body was able (and al other etceteras) I'd have had just one..or two more children lol. Its lucky to have been given the gift of children and though they are spread about by the miles the feeling of family continues. Hope your day is wonderful over there.
So cute! I love the smock design. And Alica is such a cutie! By the way, I would love to take you up on a house swap some winter, though I think your family would feel rather squeezed into our tiny ramshackle house! But living on the beach for a winter sounds like a dream!
The dress looks so pretty on :o) Yes sorry, I did get your message and meant to get back to you! Here is what Josie wrote...Thanks for passing on Kerries message. She is so lovely and I wanted to continue to keep in touch but didn't want to pass on my contact as it would have been seen by others. However will get back to her oneday. Just having a blogging break.
I also enjoyed the yummy tomato smell in the house yesterday ;o)
